Oana Sas

As a visual artist and illustrator, I experiment with different mediums and techniques in order to find ways to translate my personal everyday experiences and fleeting feelings into simple images.

Oana Sas (b.1999) often uses animal motifs as a way to portray herself and explore themes such as loneliness, frustration or fear. The emotions she wants to convey are enhanced by the delicate graphic elements she uses in her work such as lines, transparencies and textures. Oana has a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara and currently she is studying in Poland, working towards her master’s degree in Graphic Arts.
